My mother got a beautiful new Dell computer with Win7 and a very nice widescreen monitor, so I decided that I wanted to watch the Fancast playback of last night's new Big Love on her computer instead of mine.
SURPRISE! In order to access my special comcast content, I have to download Move Networks Player and Adobe AIR. I am being suspicious of having to install strange new programs on her machine, as I'm fairly sure that my little brother's profligate program installation led to headaches for years on the last machine.
I have already discovered that Move Networks has minute by minute info on individual viewers for its corporate clients. D: Is it going to hose my mom's new computer, too?
(Probably, I will just go watch the episode On Demand on an actual television, but I was kind of looking forward to the possibility of being a lazy sloth in my mom's super comfortable deskchair with her super nice monitor right before my eyes.)
