Will someone go watch this with me? *makes anime eyes* It is only the best of all possible stories, with a wicked woman, corruptions of innocents, a magnificent rake, an indulgent great aunt, and DRAMA such as a Desperate Housewife could never imagine. Tickets are $55.

Do you guys have any recommendations for female physicians in DC or Southern MD (basically PG or Montgomery counties) who are Metro accessible? If you don't have a recommendation for a doctor, do you know a nice medical practice? If you don't have a recommendation for a medical practice, do you have a recommendation for a site that does doctor reviews and isn't overrun by paid liars? If you don't have that, how do you normally pick a doctor? (I have never picked a doctor. When I was younger, I went to Kaiser, and you just made an appointment at the center most convenient to you. After Kaiser, I worked for a hospital, in the credentialing office, and I had access to records which I used improperly to pick out a doctor.)

Meshell NdgeOcello is playing at the Birchmere on Tuesday November 15. Does anyone want to go with? It should be amazing.

Reel Affirmations is a queer film festival going from October 12-October 22. Movies will be screened at various locations around the city, including the Atlas Performing Arts Center and GW's Lisner auditorium. You can pre-purchase tickets online and get festival ticket packs and passes.

The Washington Ballet is going to present Rock and Roll at Sydney Harman Hall this February. Tickets are between $20 and $87. Anyone interested in going with me? Probably aiming for the matinee on the 19th, but I could do an evening during the week.

I saw High Lonesome (one of three pieces) this fall at VelocityDC and it was excellent. This is modern dance, not ballet, if that makes a difference to you.

We could make an evening of it, probably, with dinner at Jaleo (or crepes from the crepes place at Gallery Place, as you like.)
