These are both very funny send ups of some of the nicer reality television shows with a large Twitter section at the end. The interactions between contestants and between contestants and judges are a little more mean spirited than on the source shows, but very much in a humorously exaggerated evil way.

Meng Yao is thrown back to his 8 year old self and promptly decides to do everything differently.
I found this quite charming, but also much more kid fic than I was expecting.
Meng Shi is given the space to be a character of her own and take her own agency, and Meng Yao choosing alliance over violence is exactly what I want from time travel fix it for villains. I also appreciate Meng Yao's complicated relationship with the Nies and much less complicated relationship with the Jin.
This story is very much pre-slash rather than slash.

Fantastic world building both in the sense of the construction and the reveal. Extremely slow burn romance, somewhat faster burn on the friendships. I enjoyed this one a lot.
